Sleepy Jones is inspired by getting dressed up for when you read, write, paint or play. Sleepy Jones has finally created a way for people to look fashionable whilst being lounging or if you feel like just having a lazy day. I love the color story with this brand, the vibrant primary colors and yellow ribbon really showcases a beautiful contrast making this a happy and fun brand.
"Sleepy Jones was established in 2013 by Andy Spade and long-time collaborators Anthony Sperduti and Chad Buri. After years of working together at kate spade, Jack Spade and Partners & Spade, the three set out to create a company that believes in the virtues of tinkering and pondering. The purpose of this project was to create a themed coffee packaging geared toward a select group of people. I decided to target people who collect nostalgia and who like vintage pin up girl art. I based my design around Gil Elvgren's artwork and added my own retro flair.

We were briefed to create a selection of design and packaging solutions that offered a vast array of variation and style, from traditional decorative and classical to modern, abstract and typographic. The range needed to be a visual feast for the consumer. We sourced a number of different package solutions including tins, hand bag style carton boxes, pull tab boxes, craft paper wrappers and head scarves. Our soaps in tins became the companies best selling Christmas gift in 2011.
